Role Purpose

The VP Sales will perform daily functions, tasks, and services to support the effective
and efficient operations of the organization's Sales department across the European
region. The VP Sales will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Professionals in all
sectors of the business, as well as prospecting new business opportunities to drive
growth.
The role is focused on maximizing revenues and market share, with strong emphasis
on team development and mentorship. Key responsibilities include acquiring new
customers, driving geographic expansion of the business, creating and executing strategic
account planning, developing innovative business models for customers, and
launching new business opportunities.
The VP Sales will translate the long-term company and regional strategy into
actionable account plans to deliver measurable results.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to deliver profitable revenue growth in Europe.
  • Manage sales and customer service teams in regional offices.
  • Align sales operations with operational and production goals.
  • Define and monitor the sales budget to ensure cost-effective revenue generation.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and development of team members.
  • Motivate teams to achieve company and regional objectives.
  • Monitor market and competitor activity to strengthen competitive advantage.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement success-driven plans.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction with a high-performing customer service function.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • Oversee RFPs, pricing models, and pipeline projects from initiation to completion.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and monthly performance reviews to senior leadership.
  • Represent the company through marketing campaigns and industry tradeshows.
  • Collaborate with the senior executive team to ensure regional goals are achieved.
  • Manage CRM systems, ensuring accurate reporting and effective use of sales metrics.
  • Oversee online sales and customer portals, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Drive monthly and annual revenue growth, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Improve prospect-to-customer conversion rates and increase market share.
  • Secure new business and expand relationships with existing customers.
  • Support the growth of MRO capabilities in line with evolving customer demands.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Proven track record of creating new business opportunities and establishing a
    strong presence with major aviation clients in Europe.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing international sales strategies
    in the aviation safety equipment industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong commitment to ethical business practices, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage complex situations and competing priorities.
  • Self-motivated, highly driven, and results oriented.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach and
    develop high-performing teams.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum 15 years of sales experience, including:
    • At least 10 years in leadership roles.
    • Proven exposure to global sales and operations in the aviation sector.
