Technician 2

Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Mobile Engineer!Job Overview: We are seeking a Mobile Engineer based around Swindon to support three key sites (Bristol, Carterton & Tidworth) and surrounding spoke sites. The role involves primarily handing out peripherals and end-user devices, managing tickets, and occasional break/fix tasks. A full UK manual driving licence is essential, and SC clearance will be required during the contract.

• Location: On-site (Swindon area, covering Bristol/Carterton/Tidworth)
• Hourly Rate: £18.87 via umbrella/£14.54 via PAYE
• Contract Length: Until 31-Dec-2026
• Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Distribute peripherals and end-user devices to customers on-site
• Manage and update tickets appropriately
• Return all parts promptly following the returns process with correct paperwork.
• Work collaboratively within the team to meet departmental KPIs and goals
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers
• Escalate issues or quality improvements to the Team Leader
• Attend daily calls and team meetings regularly

Key Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence (essential)
• Ability to travel between multiple sites (Bristol, Carterton, Tidworth)
• SC clearance mandatory
• Basic IT knowledge; break/fix experience desirable but not essential
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
