Location: 35 Stricklandgate - Kendal

Contract: 29th August 2025 (1-day role)

Pay Rate: A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of £14.54/hr PAYE OR £18.87/hr (via a Hays-approved umbrella company).

Hours: 37.5 hours a week. Monday-Friday.

Job Purpose:

We are seeking experienced IT De-Installation Technicians to support a structured hardware removal project on the ground floor of a designated site. The role involves dismantling and packing IT equipment from various workstations, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• De-install IT equipment in designated areas including:
  • 1x Meet & Greet Desk
  • 2x Quiet Rooms
  • 3x Counter Positions
  • 1x Admin Station
  • 1x ID Scanner
  • 1x Customer Tablet
  • 2x Network Printers
• Pack equipment into labelled storage boxes per position for removal
• Ensure all PPE requirements are met, especially on decommissioned or construction-active sites
• Read and understand all project documentation prior to site visit
• Carry a hard copy of the 'Sign-off sheet' and complete it accurately
• Notify the project team upon arrival and again upon completion of work (including out-of-hours tasks)
• Maintain a clean and organised work area during de-installation
• Adhere to site safety protocols and report any hazards or delays immediately
