Job Description
JRK Group is a multi brand franchisee passionate about food and hospitality and plans to open over 25 units in the UK in the next three years.
As an Assistant Manager of Wendy's, you will:- Manage the daily operations and staff of a Wendy's restaurant
- Focus specifically on staffing, training, and scheduling to build and retain a 5 star team
- Identify talent and empower your team to grow by providing coaching and development
- Use effective scheduling to ensure the team is the right place at the right time
- Be the face of the restaurant to new hires and crew members
- Help increase store sales and profit goals
- Support the General Manager in the day to day management of the business, both Front of House and Back of House
- Support local marketing opportunities to drive sales and the restaurant's presence in the local area
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Build a passionate, engaged team that provides a great guest experience and can support future new site openings
- Manage and supervise Supervisors, Shift Leaders, and Team Members
- Support the delivery of all key training with the General Manager and identify training needs and capability gaps within the team
- Ensure that all audit requirements are adhered to, including Health and Safety, Food Audits, Stock take, EHO and Financial Audits
- Build and maintain an efficient team of employees, driving the team towards the business objectives
- Support the manager to control costs without compromising standards and the Wendy's guest experience, through weekly and daily line checks
- Work in Back of House helping and training the team during peak times
- Comply with all legislative and company food hygiene and Health & Safety requirements and promote a positive safety culture throughout the business
- Experience leading people, even better if you did it in a food service environment
- 1 year of line operations experience with demonstrated ability to lead and manage operations in a fast paced environment
- 1 year of management experience
- Flexibility to work 44 hour work weeks - must be available all day parts and days of the week
- Travel to other locations (restaurants, area office, etc.) as needed.
- 44 Hour contract based over 5 days
