Specialty Doctor, General Adult Inpatients - Blackpool (10 PA)
We are excited to advertise this full time (10 PA) Specialty Doctor post in General Adult Psychiatry to work on our Inpatient wards at The Harbour, Blackpool.
The post is full time 10PA (40 hours) per week and substantive.
Please note - as this is an inpatient role, it is an essential criteria to be section 12 approved or be eligible for section 12 approval within 3 months of commencement (to be eligible for section 12 approval, the north of England approvals panel will require you to evidence 4 years experience in psychiatry, including 12 months UK experience and attending a section 12 induction course).
Main duties of the jobThe main duty of this post is to provide medical input to the General Adult wards, which will include direct care as well as advice/consultancy for other members of the team. You will be supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist.
About usTo be eligible to apply for this post, you must possess at least 4 year's experience in psychiatry and be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice.

Person Specification Qualifications- MBBS or equivalent
- Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise
- Section 12 approved or within 3 months
