Job Title: Solution Architect - Identity Modernisation (UCL Project)
Location: Hybrid - London
Contract: 12 Months (Initially)

About the Role:
University College London (UCL) is embarking on a major Identity Modernisation Programme to enhance how user identities (staff, students, and visitors) are managed across systems. We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of a new cloud-based identity mastering solution, replacing Legacy Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) systems and on-premise databases.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and delivery of UCL's modernised identity mastering platform.
Collaborate with enterprise architects and stakeholders to align the solution with UCL's cloud strategy.
Conduct design workshops and present solution options to senior stakeholders.
Support procurement, solution evaluation, and implementation activities.
Key Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Solution Architect with expertise in identity and access management (IAM).
Strong understanding of Azure AD/EntraID, Active Directory, MFA, conditional access, and role-based access control (RBAC).
Experience with identity mastering, authentication, and application provisioning in enterprise environments.
Familiarity with compliance, governance, and security related to identity management.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
