About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Senior Matillion Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team, focusing on Matillion within a modern cloud-first data platform environment.
In this role, you'll take ownership of maintaining a highly resilient and secure data platform, ensuring it operates efficiently and aligns with best practices. You'll resolve incidents, perform proactive monitoring, and ensure compliance with internal IT policies and controls such as access management, recoverability testing, and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities- Provide expert-level support for Matillion technology within the data platform.
Manage and resolve platform incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to service.
Conduct proactive monitoring and maintenance to uphold operational resilience.
Implement and uphold IT controls and security standards across the platform.
Support the development and enforcement of technical support standards and documentation.
Act as a subject matter expert for Matillion, providing guidance to internal teams.
Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and development teams to ensure end-to-end service quality.
Foster continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities and streamlining processes.
Maintain a knowledge base of technical solutions, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge across the wider operations team.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience supporting Matillion data platform technology.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
Demonstrated experience in incident resolution, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring.
Familiarity with IT governance, compliance, and security principles.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
A passion for continuous improvement, automation, and innovation in data operations.
