Senior Backend Developer - Video & Streaming Platform

On behalf of our key client, a major player in the video, streaming and gaming industry, we are seeking a thoughtfulSenior Backend Developerto help shape the future of tools for storytellers. You'll work closely with product and design teams to deeply understand user needs, untangle complexity, and deliver intuitive, elegant solutions for a global audience.

What you'll do:

• Develop high-performance backend tools for the media industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional, international teams to deliver solutions aligned with customer needs.
• Interact with media processing pipelines when necessary, requiring some understanding of video transcoding workflows.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute ideas, including AI-assisted development.

YOUR PROFILE Technical Skills:

• StrongPythonprogramming experience.
• Expertise inDjangofor API development and backend services.
• Solid experience withPostgreSQLdatabases and data modeling.
• Knowledge ofRedisfor caching and message brokering.
• Familiarity withElasticsearchfor search and analytics.
• Understanding of media processingpipelines and video transcoding workflows.
• Awareness or experience with AI-assisted development tools.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience withvideo streaming protocols(HLS, DASH, WebRTC) andtools(FFmpeg, Dolby, Hybrik).
