Senior Asset Manager - Technical Assurance, ISO, FM. 100% REMOTE WITH SOME ONSITE WHEN NEEDED.

Leading UK Construction client is seeking a seasoned professional and senior/lead Asset Manager with strong Technical Assurance skills as you must have strong knowledge of best practice in both Asset Management and Technical Assurance and be able to demonstrate implementation/change experience. STRONG COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS needed as you will be Leading/Managing a Team.

My client needs a person who can come in and hit the ground running on sorting resource for immediate requirements in the pipeline whilst simultaneously carrying out a full review of our current frameworks, governance and processes and coming up with an action plan ASAP.

Key Responsibilities for the ideal Senior Asset Manager with Technical Assurance are:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and mentor the Asset Manager and Data Analyst, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement
• Provide clear direction on asset management priorities and ensure alignment with organisational strategy
• Champion organisational change to embed asset management principles across FM
• Strategic Asset Management Framework
• Develop, implement and maintain the strategic asset management plan, the strategies and policies and procedures across FM services and supply chain

Financial & Performance Oversight:

• Monitor asset performance against KPIs and financial targets
• Conduct cost benefit analysis, life cycle costing and investment planning to optimise asset value

Data & Systems:

• Define and maintain data standards for asset registers, life cycle planning and risk-based maintenance strategies
• Oversee CAFM system utilisation and ensure data integrity for accurate asset registers and maintenance regimes
• Drive adoption of digital tools, predictive analytics and IoT for proactive asset management

Lifecycle & Risk Management:

• Collaborate with Lifecycle Manager to develop life cycle plans and capital investment programmes
• Implement risk-based maintenance strategies and condition base monitoring
• Compliance & Continuous Improvement
• Ensure adherence to ISO 55000, ISO 19650-3, ISO 41001 (Facilities Management) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety)
• Maintain compliance with Statutory, contractual and sustainability obligations
• Monitor Legislative changes and update the Strategic Asset Management Plan accordingly
• Drive improvement initiatives based on operational feedback, audits and lessons learned

Core Competencies needed for the Senior Asset Manager:

• Expert knowledge of ISO 55000 Asset Management Principles and best practices
• Strong financial acumen and ability to link decisions to business outcomes
• Expertise in risk-based maintenance, life cycle planning and data-driven decision making
• Leadership and change management skills with the ability to influence and embed asset management culture cross functionally across teams in FM
• Proficiency in CAFM systems (Concept) and asset data analytics and digital asset management tools
• Commitment to sustainability and ESG principles
