Job Title: SAP HR Payroll Consultant - Spanish Payroll (Freelance, Remote)

Contract Duration: 6 months
Location: Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP HR Payroll Consultant with deep expertise in Spanish Payroll to lead and deliver a full-cycle SAP Payroll implementation project. This freelance role is ideal for a senior-level consultant who can not only configure and customize SAP HR Payroll systems but also act as a strategic lead in front of the customer, coordinating across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP HR Payroll for Spanish operations.
  • Customize and configure SAP Payroll modules in accordance with Spanish labor laws and regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, managing stakeholder expectations and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
  • Provide expert guidance on Spanish labor law compliance and payroll best practices.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and documentation for client teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues during and post-implementation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an SAP HR Payroll Consultant with a focus on Spanish Payroll.
  • In-depth knowledge of Spanish labor law, tax regulations, and payroll processes.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP HCM Payroll configuration and customization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead full-cycle SAP projects independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in freelance or remote consulting roles.
  • SAP Certification in HCM or Payroll modules.
  • Experience with integrations to third-party systems or cloud platforms.
