We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Montrose, Angus. We offer a permanent part-time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days per week, including weekends.

Hours, Pay & Benefits

• Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95 per hour for ages 16-20; £12.81 per hour for ages 21+.

Key Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank-you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves for customers to buy.
• Work with your team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy.

• A friendly, positive, and hard-working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy - jump between deliveries, till duties, customer assistance, cleaning, and stock rotation.
• Reliability - you're an important part of a small team; your colleagues and customers depend on you to perform your best each shift.
• A bit of flexibility with shifts; you may need to cover slightly different hours if teammates are on holiday. Rotas are planned three weeks in advance and your external commitments are taken into consideration.
• Completion of an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the advertised position.
