Job Description

We are looking for an experienced P rogramme Manager for our client in the banking sector

Detailed description of work task to be carried out

  • Drive Core Technology E2E delivery for large to highly complex initiative to achieve successful business outcome towards our Technology Strategy
  • Be responsible for the CA SW Exit Programme roadmap and milestone plans from CTO, risks and issues, in alignment with the Service Domains plans and commitments
  • Deliver on agreed objectives, track progress and report in monthly steering in a predictable and transparent manner. Further more, responsible for reporting towards Tech and Data Strategy governance
  • Proactively coordinate internal dependencies between the CTO Service Domains and agree on external dependencies with external stakeholders
  • Set and clarify expectations, share information and actively manage stakeholders to secure alignment, provide transparency and clear communications
  • Reporting to the relevant CTO Change Forum and the Programme steering overseeing the full bank wide scope

Must-have knowledge and experience

  • Proven delivery track record, delivering large to highly complex change programmes involving infrastructure and platform development
  • Analytical skills and ability to deal with complex and demanding issues
  • Experience delivering change initiative in both in Traditional and/or Agile methodology
  • Experience in delivering Programmes related to Mainframe development. This may include use of development tools such as Endevor, Telon, CA Gen, Easytrieve, TPX, CA Spool, JCL Check.
  • Proactively manage leadership stakeholders (C-level) and successfully deliver according to agreed scope and priorities in a predictable and transparent manner. This includes benefit realisation tracking and reporting
  • Excellent English skills, both in speaking and in writing

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience

  • Hands-on experience with Mainframe development
  • Strong facilitation skills (workshops, retrospectives, etc)

Assignment start date: 1.12.2025 (ASAP) to 30.11.2026

Location: Helsinki, Finland with up to 50% remote work possible although candidates must already be based in Finland.

Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken
