Job SummaryWe're looking for an Product Application Specialist - SR to help shape the future of smart buildings. In this role, you will design and implement customer specific hardware and software, validate products for real world use cases, and create applications that showcase our products in new markets.
Duties & Responsibilities- Design and implement cross brand solutions.
- Collaborate with Product management and product development.
- Lead beta testing and field validation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Manage application engineering projects and contracts.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on product.
- Integrate third party devices and software with Delta IBT products.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Perform other related duties in support of team and organizational goals.
- This is senior level role requiring 5+ years of experience in building automation.
- Minimum - technical diploma in controls, or a related technical field.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills.
- Proven track record of leading projects from concept to execution.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn.
- Experience with Delta IBT systems (Node RED, Python, GCL+) an asset.
- Familiarity with IoT technologies, sensors, and wireless systems.
- Knowledge of LEED, WELL, or ASHRAE Guideline 36.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or quality controlled environments.
- Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP) an asset.
- Understanding of sustainable building standards and practices.

Type: Full time, Permanent
Salary: $90,000 - $116,000
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
