Location: Crawley One-Form Entry Primary School
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and reflective teacher to join our nurturing one-form entry primary school on a maternity cover basis. This full-time position will begin after May half term.
This role would suit a practitioner who values a therapeutic, child centred approach to education and is committed to helping every child flourish both academically and emotionally.
The Role- Full responsibility for planning, teaching, assessment, and classroom organisation
- Creating a calm, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Using positive reinforcement strategies to develop confidence, resilience, and independence
- Supporting pupils with a range of social, emotional, and learning needs
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals where appropriate
- Has a nurturing and therapeutic approach to teaching and behaviour support
- Is adaptable, patient, and resilient within a dynamic classroom environment
- Builds strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
- Maintains high expectations while recognising and supporting individual needs
- Is reflective and committed to ongoing professional development
- A welcoming and collaborative team within a close kissed one form entry school
- Enthusiastic pupils who respond positively to consistent and caring approaches
