Job Description

Role Title: Pre-Contract Administrator

Business Unit: Asset Intelligence

Location: Warrington

Role Purpose

The Pre-Contract Administrator plays a key role in supporting our pre construction team by coordinating opportunity tracking, governance, and bid activity. Reporting to the Senior Bid Manager, you'll help ensure opportunities are identified, managed, and progressed effectively through the work winning lifecycle. This is a proactive, detail focused role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, bringing structure, clarity, and consistency to multiple priorities while supporting high quality bid submissions.

What you'll be doing
  • Maintain an accurate, up to date pipeline of opportunities
  • Capture and track new enquiries, ensuring visibility across teams
  • Produce regular reports and support pipeline prioritisation
  • Coordinate governance processes (e.g. approvals, risk registers, bid packs)
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant
  • Maintain clear audit trails and version control
  • Manage tender documentation and file structures
  • Track deadlines and coordinate inputs from stakeholders
  • Support the preparation of compliant submissions and bid reviews
  • Maintain central libraries of key documents and standard content
  • Ensure effective use of CRM and bid management systems
  • Support reporting and continuous improvement of processes and tools
About you
  • Experience in administration, coordination, or document control
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence working with data, systems, and structured processes
  • Experience with CRM or bid management systems (desirable)
  • Construction, engineering, or similar sector experience is helpful but not essential
