Main duties of the jobYou will be reporting to the Operational Lead. The Operational Team Manager is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Talking Therapies service within the Mental Health Business Unit, line managing a team of clinicians, and ensuring effective clinical practice to meet service delivery objectives. The role involves overseeing service delivery, coordinating staff and resources, building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, and meeting operational efficiency and performance targets.

Job responsibilitiesWhat you will do in the role:
- Report to the Operational Lead and manage the day to day operations of the Talking Therapies service.
- Line manage clinicians - including performance management, professional development and ensuring clinical practice meets service objectives.
- Oversee service delivery, coordinate staff and resources, and maintain operational efficiency to meet performance targets.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the service's objectives.
Essential:
- Experience of line management provision to teams.
- Experience working within multi disciplinary settings.
- Experience generating policies and procedural working practices.
- Strong familiarity with PowerBi for data analysis.
- Ability to work individually or within a team and foster good working relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable:
- Charted Management Institute Qualification / Institute of Leadership and Management.
- Experience of budget management.
- Experience working in mental health and/or employment within related fields.
