Overview

Location: Green Hill Farm Holiday Village

Pay: £28,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours a week (full time)

Shifts: 8:30am to 5:00pm

Days: 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays

Contract: Permanent

Live In: Not available with this role

What will you do?
  • Preventative and reactive maintenance with basic repairs across the park, working from a job card system, once job complete signed and handed back.
  • Complete planned daily maintenance tasks and when required compliance checks.
  • Working on hire fleet and privately owned units, all buildings and at times assisting the grounds planting person across the site.
  • Daily works - for example, basic joinery work, door lock/hinge repair replacement, basic plumbing re-pressuring combi boilers, change shower valves, taps, mounting TVs on unit walls etc.
  • Assist in the moving of new hot tubs when needed to unit decking.
  • Maintain and repair all fencing, trellis work, walls and signage etc.
  • The role may involve some grounds and/or gardening work from time-to-time working alongside or supporting our specialist grounds planting team member.
  • Completing daily site litter picking walks, at times dealing with park refuse to include dog bins, general waste and recycling bin collections/swap.
  • Working collaboratively across the whole park supporting each department and team, enjoying positive interaction with our guests, owners and our team daily.
  • Reporting daily to the Maintenance and Grounds Manager, you will follow the company's Health and Safety policy while working confidently on your own or as part of a team in all weather conditions.
What are we looking for?

We are seeking a Maintenance Team Member with strong hands-on skills and a high standard of DIY experience, ready to integrate seamlessly into our team from day one. This is a customer-facing role within our beautiful Green Hill Farm park, so you'll enjoy engaging with guests while ensuring every job is completed to an exceptional standard - we pride ourselves on "fix it right, first time."

The role can occasionally be fast-paced, so a calm and professional approach is essential. You'll be working as part of a small, skilled team where collaboration and mutual support are key. We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable, and committed to delivering a consistently high level of service across the site.

Basic plumbing experience would be advantageous, including tasks such as replacing taps, shower valves, and toilet seats; re-siliconing bathrooms and wet areas; repressurising combi boilers; and repairing minor pipework leaks. For the right candidate, we are happy to provide training in any areas where further development is needed.

The successful candidate must hold a valid full driving licence.
