We're recruiting on behalf of a growing, food led catering business operating across corporate catering, grab & go production, weddings, and private events.
This is not a standard chef role.
This is a hands on operational leadership position for someone who understands how to run a structured, organised kitchen operation delivering consistency at scale.
The business already has an established reputation across the region, with a successful events division and expanding corporate catering arm. They are now looking for a Head of Production / Operations Chef to take ownership of the production side of the kitchen and help shape the next stage of growth.

- Grab & Go
- Corporate buffets
- Event preparation
- Kitchen prep and workflow
- Manage ordering, stock control, and production planning
- Build systems to improve consistency and efficiency
- Organise and lead kitchen teams effectively
- Maintain portion control, waste reduction, and food margin standards
- Work closely with ownership and senior chefs to support growth plans
- Ensure smooth, calm, and organised kitchen operations daily
- Strong organisational and operational kitchen management skills
- Experience within:
- Production kitchens
- Contract catering
- B&I catering
- Events catering
- Large scale fresh food operations
- Calm and structured leadership style
- Strong understanding of food costings and waste control
- Comfortable leading teams and improving systems
- Hands on approach with excellent prep and planning ability
This role would suit a chef who enjoys building systems and structure just as much as producing quality food.
