About the RoleBerkeley Scott, one of the UK's leading hospitality recruitment agencies, is seeking reliable and hardworking General Assistants to support a variety of clients across the Education and Healthcare sectors in Tonbridge.

Key Responsibilities- Assisting with basic food preparation and service
- Supporting kitchen and catering teams with daily operations
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Washing up and ensuring kitchen and service areas are clean and organised
- Setting up and clearing dining/service areas
- Assisting with stock rotation and basic storage tasks
- Adhering to all food safety and health & safety regulations
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Monday to Friday (weekends typically off)
- Shifts available between:
- Start times: 7am - 9:00am
- Finish times: 2:00pm - 4:30pm
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce) - essential
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or cleaning role preferred
- Level 1 or 2 Food Safety Certificate (desirable)
- Experience in schools, care homes, or contract catering advantageous
- Strong reliability, organisation, and timekeeping
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
