Fuse Rail is seeking an experienced E&P Delivery Manager to join our team, based at our main office in Folkestone, Kent, working on projects across the South East.
Purpose of the Position
The E&P Delivery Manager will support the E&P Project Manager and production team by organizing and motivating the team to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.
Responsibilities- Direct the development of maintenance, construction, design, and project works to meet key business objectives.
- Ensure effective assurance processes to control risks and enable work to be completed in compliance with standards, performance, and business processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key senior customers, stakeholders, and suppliers within the Infrastructure Construction & Engineering (ICE) portfolio.
- Oversee the timely assignment and discharge of Construction Design Management (CDM) obligations for all projects.
- Lead by example in applying the Fuse Rail Management System and promote continuous improvement for clients and employees.
- Control and verify the quality of work undertaken and ensure assets are compliant with standards.
- Verify that staff and subcontractors possess the appropriate and valid competencies.
- Ensure vehicles, plant, tools, equipment, and materials are fit for use, properly stored, and disposed of correctly.
- Accurately report all work completed or not and maintain relevant records.
- Operate within the limits of delegated authorities as per company policy.
- Contribute to personal and team development.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, respecting confidentiality and GDPR regulations.
- Prioritize health and safety, using equipment properly and reporting any hazards or defects.
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role and industry.
- Experience with E&P, CRE/ETE preferred but not essential.
- Background in CRE or CEM.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and organized.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven project management experience in safety-critical environments.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels.
- Good knowledge of health and safety and compliance management, including investigations.
- Familiarity with relevant standards, procedures, and railway operational standards.
- IT literate.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full UK driving license.
- Current Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification.
- Membership of a professional body.
