Construction Manager - Onshore Wind

Location: Ireland (We're looking for candidates locally based)

Contract: 12-18 months

Rate: Negotiable (competitive)

We are looking for a high impact Construction Manager to take the lead on delivering utility scale onshore wind projects across Ireland. If you thrive in a hands on, site based leadership role and have a proven track record from early works through to commissioning and handover, this is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact.

• Take full ownership of on site construction delivery for large scale wind farm projects
• Lead turbine erection and installation (Vestas, Nordex, Siemens Gamesa preferred)
• Drive commissioning phases in line with strict timelines and quality benchmarks
• Champion a strong HSE culture, ensuring full compliance on site
• Manage and coordinate contractors & subcontractors to deliver on scope, budget and schedule
• Oversee grid connection and interface activities with key stakeholders
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement proactive solutions
• Support commercial and contractual discussions where needed

• 5+ years' experience in wind, with a strong focus on onshore construction
• Proven delivery of full-cycle wind farm projects (Ireland, UK, or Europe)
• Strong experience with major OEMs (Vestas, Nordex, Siemens Gamesa)
• A hands on leader who can drive performance and accountability on site
• Solid knowledge of erection, commissioning and grid connection processes
• Experience managing multi disciplinary teams and contractors

• GWO (required)
• HV/AP experience (highly desirable)
• Engineering or construction qualification (preferred)
