Job Description

We are looking for a confident Administrator with a strong focus on delivering efficient and high-quality support.Youll be working 40 hours a week which will be days only 9 - 5, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations at Cygnet Alders.

Job responsibilities

We are looking for a clinical administrator to join our team at Cygnet Alders Clinic. Cygnet Alders Clinic is a 20 bed rehabilitation service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex needs.

Your Day-to-Day

You'll be working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday

£28,320 per annum

Provide a high standard of secretarial support to members of the medical team. Maintain a good working relationship with clinicians & caring professionals. Attend & take minutes at a variety of clinical meetings, hearings & tribunals. Produce high quality admission & discharge summaries & tribunal reports. Type minutes, care plan approach reports & care plan outcomes. Create & maintain patient records & paper files.

We are looking for someone who is

  • Service oriented, with Medical Secretary experience & knowledge of mental health
  • Flexible, adaptable, organised & responsible
  • An excellent typist, preferably to RSA 2 level & with audio transcription skills
  • Calm under pressure & able to work independently & as part of a team
  • A strong written & verbal communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word and databases
