Cisco Security Systems Engineer - Austria

We're looking for a Cisco Security Systems Engineer to help us design, implement, and support advanced Cisco Security solutions for enterprise customers. You'll work closely with our sales and technical teams, define best practices for security design, and act as a trusted advisor for clients and partners.

Aufgaben

• Pre-sales consulting: Customer presentations, solution design, and partner enablement

• Design: Create High-Level and Low-Level Designs for Cisco Security architectures

• Proof-of-Concept: Validate solutions in internal labs or customer environments

• Implementation: Deploy and configure Cisco Security technologies (ASA, FirePOWER, ISE, Umbrella, etc.)

• Post-implementation support: Troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement

• Training & enablement: Share your expertise through workshops and consultations

Profil

• Minimum 3 years of experience in networking and security solutions

• Knowledge of Cisco Firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN, ISE/802.1X, Email/Web protection

• Good understanding of routing and switching (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)

• Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, FirePOWER, and ISE is a strong advantage

• Experience in project work, consulting, or service delivery

• Strong communication and presentation skills in German and English

• Trustworthiness, responsibility, independence, and a team mindset
