Job Description
About the Role 
As a B2B Sales Manager in our team, you will lead sales growth across SME and large energy user segments using field sales, broker/TPI, and digital channels. You will drive high performing teams of Business Development Managers and partner with Marketing, digital, and specialist teams to deliver best in class customer acquisition and growth strategies.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of BDMs to meet revenue, margin, and growth targets across B2B segments.
- Drive performance across field, broker/TPI, and emerging digital channels.
- Develop and execute sales plans aligned to overall commercial strategy.
- Monitor pipeline, conversion, and performance metrics; implement corrective actions.
- Define and optimise channel strategies to maximise market penetration and profitability.
- Strengthen broker/TPI relationships for consistent, scalable growth and avoid channel conflicts.
- Coordinate cross sell and upsell of core energy supply and integrated services (solar, CHP, heat pumps, O&M solutions).
- Embed a whole solution approach across the sales function.
- Lead development and execution of digital B2B sales channels; partner with Marketing on customer journeys, campaigns, and lead generation.
- Champion data driven decision making and performance tracking, driving adoption of digital tools, CRM optimisation, and automation.
- Extensive B2B sales leadership experience in energy or related sector.
- Strong track record in meeting commercial targets and managing multi channel sales.
- Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high performing teams.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Deep understanding of the B2B energy market, supply, pricing, regulatory dynamics, and multi channel sales strategy.
- Knowledge of energy services integration (solar, CHP, heat pumps, O&M solutions) to drive commercial growth and customer value.
- Hands on data driven mindset and experience with CRM and automation tools.
