Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

We are recruiting on behalf of a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, who have contracts across the Southern region of the UK. They are seeking a qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, who can maintain excellent levels of service to clients and can hit the ground running upon joining the company. The company is privately owned and well respected within the industry, and can offer fantastic further training opportunities. Salaries on offer are attractive and benefits packages include: overtime, pension scheme, company vehicle and annual leave allowance.
Locations of work include: Guildford, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Burgess Hill, Southampton, Totton, Eastleigh, Romsey, Winchester, Alton, Bordon, Waterlooville, Havant, Chicheter, Portsmouth, Godsport, Fareham, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Salisbury, Amesbury, Andover, Basingstoke, Poole, Warminster, Shaftesbury, Dorchester, Farnham.
Experience / Qualifications- Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or RSPH equivalents)
- Fully conversant in HSG 264, HSG 248 and UKAS guidelines
- Must have worked for a UKAS accredited outfit
- Able to work to agreed deadlines
- Proficient in using IT software
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys, including demolition, management and refurbishment
- Conducting re inspection surveys
- Collecting samples from site for analysis
- 4 stage clearances and reassurance, background, personal, smoke and leak air monitoring
- Collating findings to produce detailed technical reports
- Attending a range of asbestos removal sites
- Ensuring to work in line with safety guidelines
- Meeting with clients to provide technical advice and updates
- Fostering healthy professional relationships with clients
