A leading asbestos consultancy that provides specialist advice and services on all asbestos disciplines is seeking to employ an Asbestos Business Development Manager to work on contracts in the South Central and South East. Applications are considered from Reading, Harrow, London and surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience- Must come from a strong sales, business development, management, technical, office background.
- Proven track record in this role and the asbestos industry; experience in other sectors beneficial.
- Good formal education and any other job-related qualifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Good communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Manage new and existing accounts, take business to the next level.
- Get involved with sales, commercial and financial side of the business - promoting the company's asbestos services.
- Produce quotations and submit tenders.
- Develop and monitor business forecasts and budgets.
- Build professional relationships with clients/customers by liaising and negotiating appropriately to win new contracts.
- Maintain the company's systems - database.
- Attend and conduct meetings to discuss financial position of the business.
- Achieve targets and goals.
- Develop the sales staff through training.
- Handle sales inquiries.
- Ensure all work complies with the company's Health & Safety procedures.
- Develop plans for new clients and suppliers - contracts or services.
