Overview

Our client is a well established asbestos removals consultancy working across retail, leisure, educational, healthcare and social housing contracts. They are looking to appoint an organised and self sufficient Asbestos Bid Manager to be based in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the asbestos industry, producing tenders and PQQs, overseeing a team of bid writers and ensuring the bid process runs efficiently and within set time frames.

Experience & Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the asbestos industry working in bid management, sales, business development, commercial, project and risk management.
• Well versed in relevant Health & Safety legislation.
• Previous bid writing role preferred.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the bid process runs efficiently and effectively.
• Oversee the bid team to carry out work effectively.
• Manage bid input from stakeholders, sales, marketing, finance, technical teams and legal.
• Complete written proposals.
• Arrange post bid reviews and feedback with clients.
• Manage multiple sites simultaneously and keep all work up to date.
