Description

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry into accounting systems.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor budgets and provide insights on variances or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and audits.
  • Support the finance team with reconciliations and cost analyses.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to other departments as required.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the accounting and finance function assisting with reconciliations, journals and balance sheet reviews
  • Preparing and analysing financial data and reports
  • Supporting budget setting and annual charge reviews
  • Working with large data sets using Excel
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
  • Supporting compliance and audit requirements
  • Liaising with wider operational and finance teams across the business
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

  • Happy to consider PQ and QBE candidates.
  • Experience working in the Housing sector.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of financial systems.
  • The ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in preparing financial reports and handling budgets.
