We are looking for a talented and motivated 2nd Line IT Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join our Business Managed Services (BMS) team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an innovative and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality IT support and infrastructure solutions.

In this role, you will provide expert second-line support and play a key part in the delivery and maintenance of our cloud, infrastructure, and end-user computing services. You will work collaboratively with a team of skilled technical professionals, contributing to the smooth operation and continual improvement of our services.

What you'll be doing
  • Provide 24x7 2nd line support, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and issues.
  • Take ownership of your performance, including mandatory training and compliance.
  • Excel under pressure, delivering high-quality results even in challenging situations.
  • Plan and execute complex changes to ensure sustained service across various products and solutions.
  • Share technical knowledge across BMS through continuous improvement processes and coaching.
  • Stay updated on changes to existing, emerging, and new technologies to meet business and customer objectives.
  • Restore normal service to users as quickly as possible, offering general guidance and support to users and support staff on shift.
Skills we would like to see from you
  • Excellent 2nd line IT/technical support experience.
  • Broad experience supporting applications including Windows Server, Active Directory, O365, Cloud, Citrix, Azure, AWS, VMWare & Nutanix.
  • Must be able to obtain SC & NPPV security clearances.
  • Understanding of Service Desk operations and ITIL processes.
  • Effective listening skills and attention to detail.
  • 10% on-target bonus.
