IP Litigation Lawyer

A major City firm is seeking a junior level Associate to join its Legal 500 ranked IP Litigation team, in particular focusing on reputation management, cyber security and media focussed matters.

This role will cover a wide variety of interesting areas including: data protection, defamation, harassment, blackmail, copyright law, regulatory media complaints, NDAs, cyber attacks and reputation management. The joining Associate will work on litigation for both claimants and defendants. Clients often include household name media companies, such as newspapers and broadcasters, and high net worth individuals.

You will work closely with leading Partners in the field of soft IP litigation, as well as closely with other teams at the firm. The firm has a strong reputation in the practice area, so this is an opportunity to gain exposure to high quality matters from top clients in the media business.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have specific reputation management/defamation experience from a similarly highly regarded firm in the City. You should have gained approximately 1-2 years' PQE in IP Litigation.
